Mandarin Teacher

Job Responsibility
- Teach preschool, school-age, or adult Mandarin classes based on program needs.
- Adapt lessons for students with non-Mandarin cultural backgrounds.
- Prepare lessons according to the approved curriculum and student learning goals.
- Teach with structured lesson plans, discussion, activities, and multimedia materials.
- Assign and review homework, assessments, and progress records.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Communicate progress with students, families, and the academic team.
- Participate in staff meetings, training workshops, and school events when needed.
Job Requirements
- TCFL or TCSOL certification is preferred.
- Experience delivering in-person Mandarin classes to groups of students.
- Sound knowledge of Chinese language and literacy.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Relevant teaching degree, diploma, or professional certification.
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
- Fluent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Strong organization, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- A genuine interest in teaching students from different backgrounds.
